Toolkit
A tool is a piece of equipment that typically provides an advantage in accomplishing a task, or provides an ability that is not naturally available to the user of a tool. Use of tools is widely accepted as a sign of intelligence and is regarded as a stimulus for human evolution, especially with regard to the development of the human brain. Use of conceptual tools in commercial settings is emerging as a key differentiator for businesses that are recognised as consistent high performers. We like to think of the use of tools as a way of making light work of heavy lifting!
The Triple E suite of tools and models, to support High Performance Value Selling®, prove to be highly infectious, a testimony to their ability to support high quality and productivity. Whilst we are very proud of our tools, we are very mindful that they are simply a means to an end. As Eileen C. Shapiro, US business consultant and author, has commented, "Thinking must be the hardest job in the world. What people want to do is outsource it to a mantra or a methodology like reengineering." (Source: Fad Surfing in the Boardroom (1998)). The utility of the tool is simply to support our thinking in a more powerful way. Back
